2024 American summer movie box office competition

The guys pick soon to release movies and seeing which ones they’ve picked make the most in the box office. They each get 98 points because of their love of the year 1998 in which they have done much content during their F**kface era. They spent an hour auctioning their points for upcoming movies and in the end this was their results. Whoever’s movie picks, makes the most money, will pick a live movie watch-along for their patreon. Later the guys discuss a fan made website tracking the combined revenue of each of their movie picks. A few weeks later the guys are cracking jokes about Geoffs pick Horizon and give an update to who’s currently winning. The guys release a supplemental video talking about upcoming things and answering questions, mid way through Eric cuts in to announce that Gavins movie pick Horizon chapter 2 will be postponed. This pushes it out of the competition timeframe meaning Gavin won’t get this added to his score and won’t get his points back either. A few more weeks later the guys saw the movie Twisters and they HATED it! Andrew tries to stand up for his movie pick but to little success. Later Geoff brings up that most of the fans agreed that they also didn’t like Twisters but Andrew puts that a lot of the fans did like it. Geoff then tells about all the fans that thought they were film snobs or too old to appreciate the movie which gets the guys explaining that it’s just a bad movie. They then discuss what movies are left to come out this summer. Gavin then pitches a Capitalisms style point system for the next summer movie competition. Where the people who did ranked higher get more points to spend next year. So the people who didn’t do so well have less to work with next time. None of the other guys are onboard with this. Another episode later and the guys launch back into everything they hate and everything that doesn’t make sense with Twisters.
