Supermarket purchase stories

Gavin wants to write a story, one word at a time in his signature box when signing for purchases and have his story on record at his bank. Andrew asks Gavin if the word he’s added to his story has to be related to what he’s buying at that moment. Geoff then pitches, What if you wrote a story using only words you found on products in a grocery store? Andrew then decides what if they each buy 3 items and write a story from words on those products? Andrew adds on that they should also try and guess each others products they’ve bought based on the words they’ve used. So one week later the guys come back with their story.

ANDREWS STORY:

Major Snap Melon, proudly serving the dark side. Oven toasted Greg Hilderbrand. In Canada, this suggested destiny is applicable for refund.

Eric correctly guesses one of Andrews products is a soda and then that the soda is a Mountain Dew. Eric then guesses the Light side, Dark side Oreos, getting two of the three. Gavin guesses some sort of toaster strudel, incorrectly. Geoff then guesses toaster strudel. Jokingly Eric guesses toaster strudel. Finally Andrew reveals the last product was Rice Krispies.

GAVINS STORY:

With precaution, Charlie balanced on the ancient boulder above the volcanic mines. Aware of the health hazards, below is bursting with radiation and is not a well ventilated environment. Charlie is a professional with the benefits of safety documents. Ash eruptions prevent Charlies fat grip. The power of nature! Temperature causes Charlies eyes and hands to be boiled and damaged by sharp objects. Life cannot be reused.

After various failed guesses Gavin reveals that only one of his products isn’t food. After a few more failed guesses he reveals Salt, Teabags and Gloves.

GEOFFS STORY:

Norm smelled death, raw, deep, ruthless. It permeated the farm. Not natural. Los Angeles, New York, Chicago, New Hampshire. Every place, bitter sweet, alchemical, acid, bacon. Notes of a not natural nectar. Murder! The family chain saturated with lime and lecithin. Smoked and roasted a thumb through the eyes indicating a sacred, twisted ritual. Help, love, die. Notes pressed into the mouth with dark Alderwood, trademarks of the twisted convict. Norm mouthed to Tony ‘Vas just traveled here with the woman, your woman.’

Geoff reveals straight away that all 3 of his products are food or at least things that go in your mouth. Geoff elaborates that his story is about two cops chasing a serial killer that has abducted one of their wives. After several guesses, Geoff doubts they’ll guess two of the products but one they should be familiar with. He continues that when they came up with this idea he wanted to do an unexpected story, a murder story. So he started with a product he know had the words ‘murder’, ‘kill’ and ‘death’. Gavin immediately guesses Liquid Death. Geoff then posts his products, Tony’s chocolonely and Mo’s bacon dark chocolate.
