Fear Venn Diagram

When Gavin reveals Erics fear of Blood pressure tests, Eric starts trying to track down the leak. When Eric asks a friend, they say they didn’t even know about his fear. Eric says it’s not like it’s well known like Geoffs fear of snakes. To which their friend brings up that a Boa constrictor would be both their fear, Geoffs snake and Erics squeezing. This brings about the Regulation Fear Venn diagram. A 5 way Venn diagram and at the center would be The Regulation fear. The guys discuss Nicks fear of flying and joke about his and Geoffs overlap would be Snakes on a plane! Andrew talks about his fear of surgical scenes in movies and Gavin brings up his phobia of wet bread. Gavin pitches that the center would surely just be ‘Death’. Then Geoff pitches that he doesn’t want to die but he’s not worrying about it. Gavin states that fear of death is the first thing on his mind in the morning for a few seconds then goes about with his day. Geoff suggests Gavin is more afraid of death then wet bread. Down the line Andrew discovers a new fear, wet paper cups. The thought of wet paper cups brings on goosebumps. Eric agrees with him and mentions biting paper is something unsettling as well. Andrew brings up that it’s not a fear per say but kind of like Gavins wet bread phobia. Eric says that his and Andrews overlap wont be anything to do with blood pressure tests just straight up wet paper cups phobia. Episodes later Gavin starts trying to pitch ideas on how Eric can overcome his fear of blood pressure tests. His first idea is to do the blood pressure test around Erics neck, which would be way scarier so when he has to do it on his arm it would be no big deal. The guys try to flip it on Gavin and suggest getting him over his phobia of soggy bread. Andrew then starts pitching ideas for overcoming Erics fear. He pitches a full leg compression system. Gavin tries a gentler approach and suggests just squeezing Erics arm with his hands. Eric brings up that, that could be the origin of his phobia from his childhood. Gavin goes to the next level and suggests squeezing Eric in the night while he’s asleep. Gavins next idea is to have Eric inside a giant balloon as he slowly lets the air out. Andrew pitches an inflatable costume that he slowly deflates.
